Riding an E-bike? Stay out of this area to stay alive.
My dad used to say two objects can't occupy the same space at the same time. And that's true for e-bikes and cars. And if you get in a fight with a car, you're gonna lose. But if you stay out of the area where a car can actually roll, you're never gonna get hit by one. So how can you do that? Well, if you're coming up on a long line of cars at an intersection, don't pull up beside them. A few of them are probably gonna turn right or left, so you wanna stay out of that area.
Also, when you're traveling down a road with cars in front of you and you're coming up on a gas station, a seven-eleven, or any other kind of store parking lot entrance, it's probably best to ride off the back bumper of the car and be prepared for them to turn in unexpectedly. Remember, drivers change their minds quickly and sometimes they won't look before turning. So stay out of an area where cars can roll, especially if they're in front of you.
